About Thai Trade Center, Singapore
The Thai Trade Center (TTC) in Singapore represents the Department of Export Promotion (DEP), Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, is responsible for promoting trade and services between Thailand and Singapore. The main responsibilities are as follows:-
- TTC organizes and co-ordinate trade mission to Thailand, organized under the DEP fair calendar throughout the year. The mission comes in two forms, product sourcing and visiting of international trade fairs. In both format of the trade mission, there will be arrangement of business matching for the Thai manufacturers & exporters meeting potential Singapore importers & distributors. - TTC work and co-operate with local businesses such as business and trade associations, department stores, supermarket and food chains to encourage the sourcing and purchasing of Thai made products and services. We work directly with management team of these local associations and enterprises to achieve a good representation of Thai products and services to be available in Singapore. Many of our promotional activities e.g. fairs in the Embassy, In-store promotion with Hypermarket and Supermarket is geared towards this objective. TTC also welcome individual businessman or representative of any business to work with us on any trade and products enquiry and promotion.
- TTC also assist business matching for the Thai manufacturers & exporters and the Singapore importers & distributors; provide general trade information; coordinate with Singapore government agencies on issue of the economic co-operation under the bilateral and regional forum such as STEER and ASEAN.
